Invenias software utilises the local dedicated resources of your machine and local cached data to deliver superior performance and availability, enabling users to work anywhere, anytime, online or offline.
Desktop Software
Invenias software is downloaded over the internet and installed on the client machine with the Microsoft .Net Framework and SQL Server 2005 Express. Software updates are automatically deployed to users as and when they are available.
The desktop software connects over the internet via HTTPS to our secure cloud data services platform which enables it to synchronise data and distribute it to multiple distributed users.
Cloud Data Services
Invenias cloud data services consist of a secure web service and a SQL Server 2005 Enterprise database. All data sent to and from the cloud services platform is 256bit encrypted and transmitted over HTTPS.
The Invenias cloud data services platform is managed and delivered by Rackspace using industry best practices and best-of-breed hardware to ensure an enterprise class solution. Load balanced and mirrored to ensure optimum performance and availability, Invenias servers are hosted in a World-Class Tier-1 Data Centre and are supported 24x7 by Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers.
Exchange, Windows Mobile & BlackBerry
Invenias is directly integrated into the core of Microsoft Outlook and therefore is able to utilise the extended functionality and mobile access provided by Microsoft Exchange Server and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).
